Learning stepped out of the classroom and into tradition as our school embarked on a delightful excursion to Nakhrali Dhani, Indore. The journey began at 11:00 a.m., with buses filled with cheerful chatter, sparkling curiosity, and boundless excitement.
Upon arrival, the students received a warm and traditional welcome with tikka, followed by a delectable breakfast of poha and jalebi – a perfect start to a culturally rich day.
The campus soon transformed into a playground of experiences. Students joyfully indulged in camel rides, horse rides, and bullock cart rides, while vibrant performances kept their eyes wide with wonder. The puppet show, Kalbeliya folk dance, magic show, theatre performance, circus acts, and an energetic disco session created waves of laughter and applause. Every performance left the children amazed, engaged, and thoroughly entertained.
The highlight of the day was the authentic Rajasthani lunch, where traditional flavours brought smiles to every face. Beyond enjoyment, the trip offered meaningful exposure to India’s rich cultural heritage, making learning truly experiential.
As the sun began to set, we returned safely by 6:00 p.m., carrying back memories filled with joy, culture, and togetherness. The visit to Nakhrali Dhani was not just a trip – it was a celebration of tradition, learning, and happiness that will be cherished for a long time.
